Carlisle United

Carlisle United Football Club have played their home games at Brunton Park since 1909, predominantly wearing their traditional blue kit.

For a few weeks in September 1974, the Cumbrians were top of the pile, in what turned out to be their only season in the first division. A rollercoaster ride has ensued with a short spell out of the Football League in the early 2000s.

The club has enjoyed success in the Football League Trophy, winning it six times overall.
